Four functions to save ink
Book Copy
When copying pages from a book the dark borders and skew on the scanner glass can be corrected. The machine corrects this automatically and this reduces ink used in printing.
Ink saving mode
"Ink saving mode" emphasizes outlines and lightens colors in order to reduce the amount of ink consumed.
Removal of background color
Printing of unneeded data from the back of the page being copied is avoided. This makes copies clearer and reduces ink usage.
Separate independent color ink cartridges
By having separate consumables all the ink within the cartridge can be maximized, opposed to replacing fixed consumables with 4 fixed colors when one color runs out.
Four paper saving features
Automatic duplex printing
Use of this convenient automatic duplex function can cut paper use in half.
Page layout
This paper-saving function can reduce and combine two or four original pages to a single page of copy paper. By combining the 4-in-1 or 2-in-1 functions with automatic duplex printing, the amount of paper consumed can be reduced by as much as one-eighth.
Printing pages from websites
You can print efficiently and save paper, by shrinking on-screen data to a single page or combining scattered data on one page .
Fax Preview
When you receive a fax, you can choose to view its contents on a liquid crystal display. Thus preventing unnecessary printing and saving paper.
